After the first LG Laundry Lounge in Greece opened last year in Athens, this international success story continues to win over residents and many tourists in this country.
Thus, Athens recently got the new designer laundromat. We talked to Georgios, our Greek partner, to have more details about this successful collaboration.
Challenges: So many ideas, so little time
“The owners are entrepreneurs who wanted to invest in a new business and expand. The idea of a laundromat came naturally – the father of one of them was in this business, so they were not completely unfamiliar with laundries,” says Georgios.
However, considering they are very busy with their other projects, they wanted to find a total solution. That’s how they got in touch with Georgios.
“They were looking for someone who would support them in business planning, devices that would be compatible with each other, a ready-made visual identity... Also, it was important for them to know that they would always be able to count on technical support and device maintenance.”

The search for a suitable space took a little longer than they had hoped. But once they found it, everything was ready in only two months, and the work could start!

“The owners were particularly delighted by the 3D modelling of the space and the installation. That’s where they got their first impression of what their future laundry would look like, and that further boosted their enthusiasm for the new business venture,” says Georgios.

“They like the whole concept – they say that everything looks very nice and tidy, but above all, the devices are easy to use, and the washing and drying results are excellent,” says Georgios.
